I think he believes that when the working class is reduced to a ghetto environment, he will belong to the chosen few and will be able to live in a state of opulence separated from the working class. He sees an America that protects the very rich and would like nothing better than to see the rich build their wealth on the backs of the poor. Rush Limbaugh does not see America the same way I see America. He speaks of family values and how republicans and conservatives are the guardians of of these values, but his lifestyle and the lifestyles of the conservative republicans is au contraire. **** Rush Limbaugh is intellectually dishonest and is paid well for his efforts. Don't look at the general statements-look at what each side has done, and the detailed plans of how they intend to "get there." Take the emotion out and look at the facts and compare them to the principles and values you stand for. I do ask people to become informed of the facts-listen to both sides (slants and all) and then decide. Rush is doing this, and has recognized and tried in the past as well. They are not evil people, but they need help and rehabilitation. What normal American would? Being a healthcare worker, I encounter many who have become addicted to narcotics-patients, physicians, nurses-good people. He never lied about it other than by not telling all the world about it. Personally, his drug addiction does not influence how I view his commentary. This does not mean Rush is pristine and unfalliable-as evidenced in his drug addiction but that he is a human being-like the rest of us. Rush provides this, and I am thankful for it. Considering a large portion of the media has an obvious and undeniable slant, we need those supporting the "other slant" as a check and balance. Unfortunately, the information is often only as accurate as the reporter is unbiased. Rush has dedicated his career and life to it, as too all others in the media. Living in a country which is structured on free speech, we are supported by it as well as bogged down by it.
